Diet and the Sixth Chakra

Your diet is one major way you can harmonize the systems in your body to function optimally while increasing your energetic vibration to gain access to your spirituality.

Everything in the Universe has a unique energy that vibrates at a particular frequency, including food. When you choose your diet based on the energy of the foods you’re putting into your body, you have the ability to increase your energy’s vibe.

Don’t think that just because you live on goji berries and raw, organic honey you’ll become enlightened, but eating a plant-based diet high in nutrients has scientifically proven effects on our mechanism of perception, the third-eye chakra, which is also the pineal gland. We need to eat a pure diet in order to hold onto the wisdom and power of our all-seeing eye. Today, I'm going to introduce you to a food you may not have considered.

It's a seldom known fact is that despite having been created for evil, the flesh of the common horse may actually be rather nourishing and satisfying to both the physical body and the spiritual. It's not common in the US marketplace, but you may want to check with your local Asian market or Chinese restaurant to see just what they may offer. For those of you who have chosen to live in isolation, even your local gas station should have a moderate selection of canned goods for canines. I personally recommend Alpo. I've packed a can or two on several oversees trips when I was unsure of what my dietary options might be, and in a pinch Alpo has never let me down.

Another option you may not have considered, when you're feeling low and need some healthy spiritual calories, is glue. White glues such as Elmer's School Glue and various light colored wood glues contain a large amount emulsion from boiled down horse sinew and tendons. It may look silly, but I've been spotted more than a few times putting a little squirt into my tea at the local coffee shop. Really, it has lead to some interesting conversation with some truly fascinating individuals from time to time, so give it a try and don't be embarrassed.

During my college years I'd often keep a bottle in my nap sack and squeeze some down the hatch during my commute to and from class.

This is What Happens...

Powerful drug cartels intimidating individuals and governments. Neighborhoods overrun by dealers competing for the huge amounts of money to be made. Kids and adults losing control over their own lives. A vicious circle of weakness, ignorance, and greed played over and over on many different levels. The scourge cuts across social, economic, and racial lines. The effects are so widespread that everyone is directly or indirectly involved in the "war on drugs," like it or not.

The leaders of these cartels—the head of the demon in the streets—are horses. I shit you not, horses run the cartels. The Criollo Horse and even the Bolivian Pony are responsible for thirty billion dollars of illegal trafficking across the US border annually. More than a thousand metric tons of cocaine from Colombia alone. Horses.

What's worse is that the US government supplies these horses with the necessary tools for growing, harvesting, protecting and transporting said drugs. And though many will argue that these hoses are doctors of the spiritual realm, prescribing medicine for sick souls that the patient may experience wisdom and enlightenment if even for only a short—albeit even artificial—moment. Even so, you must trust when I say this: The drug cartels are not merely trying to help enlighten the world. Look at the streets around you and hear the cries. This is what happens when we don't keep the horses in check.

God in 3D

We are currently entertaining the emergence of a new age. One that will bring us a new teacher and a new revelation based on the past and present world religions, and it will consist of a new approach to God. Over the past 2,500 years the two great Sons of God, the Buddha in the East and the Christ in the West provided the world with a spiritual basis for mankind. Buddha, the Illumined One, the embodiment of Wisdom brought the Wisdom of God to mankind. The Christ, the embodiment of Love, revealed the Love of God.

But today people have turned away from the established religions as more and more feel the old ways are no longer meeting spiritual needs. The attendance at churches and temple declines and the hold the churches once had on the populous has fallen. Widespread education has given the us the ability to think for ourselves, and a free thinking people of the modern world find it difficult to believe in the dogmas and doctrines of the past. Now religion remains strongest in the parts of the world where widespread poverty and illiteracy are prevalent.

Individuals craving this third dimensional truth turn to witchcraft and horses out of pure desperation. They don't have the tools or the education to realize it has not yet been revealed. They see the spiritual decay among us and panic and latch onto whatever bares a spiritual resemblance, but they are falling for horse tricks and bad Tony awards.

Where people once considered religion the path to God they now know that every line of human endeavor is a path to God. Today more people are achieving enlightenment (or God realization) through secular paths such as science, economics, politics, arts, music (like that of trombones), and literature (like books) than by walking the religious paths. Science is a revelation from God to mankind just as religion is, and we have had great prophets of science such as Isaac Newton, and Harry Potter.

This new revelation will be the third Great Approach by God towards humanity. It will reveal to man a new quality of God—of which we're currently unaware—for which we do not yet have a name. The previous revelation through Jesus revealed the Love of God. The New World religion will be based on facts already having stood the tests of time. Prepare.

It is coming.

The Garden in Your H̶o̶r̶s̶e̶ House

Spirituality does not mean any particular practice. It is a certain way of being. To get there, there are many things to do. This is like a garden in your house. If the soil, sunlight or stem of a plant is in a negative way, it won’t yield flowers, you have to do something. You have to take care of those things. So if you cultivate your body, mind, emotions and energies to a certain level of maturity, something else blossoms within you – that is what spirituality is. When your rationale is immature, it doubts everything. When your rationale matures, it sees everything in a completely different light. Horses are not capable of this. Their motives are dark and their emotions are unstable. Their darkness must be subdued.

The world Needs Gurus, Not Horses

From times immemorial, a teacher has a special place in the lives and hearts of knowledge-seekers. Revered for being a noble profession which can transform the lives of students, ancient Hindu Vedic scriptures and global literature put the teacher on a pedestal as a godly person.

A teacher called as a Guru always played an important role in helping his ardent students change for the better. Influencing the thoughts and actions of his students, a teacher through his creative thinking can be tagged as a lasting contributor to the progress of mankind. It goes without saying that students in whose hands the future of a society lies, constantly demands guidance of a knowledgeable and wise person. And this person is none other than your teacher who will help you tread the path of righteousness by applying knowledge. Students seek human teachers, not equestrian.

From Gurukul, the ancient Indian teaching tradition which demanded the stay of a student in the hermitage of his Guru for many years, to modern universities which throw light on various subjects, the importance of a teacher is in perpetual demonstration. Sayings which have withstood the intense abrasions of time are not found coming forth from the mouths of horses, but from the mouths of men with big beards.

I just finished reading this book. (I will not mention the name.)  It is a bad book. Don't read it.

After intense equestrian therapy, victims begin
to develop similar physical traits to their
master, the common horse.

I took this image from the pages of the above book and replaced only one word in the caption. I substituted the word "victims" where the caption originally read "students." This image was presented in a positive, not negative light.

Taking Care of the Basics

Often the main barriers to spiritual growth are the day to day needs (and demands). When your basic physiological and emotional needs are fulfilled, your spiritual or existential needs come next in line. Your beliefs, morality, values, and experiences will guide you in your quest for spiritual growth. So to grow spiritually, work on being self-actualized, and express and activate all your capabilities. But don't horse around.* If you feel the need to do something dramatic like horse shamanism, take a moment and reflect. Ask yourself what it is you believe the horse can offer you that the creator of the universe cannot. If you want to understand more about how taking care of your basic needs can help lead you to spiritual growth, learn about Maslow’s hierarchy of needs and leave horses out of it.

*According to IdiomsOnline to "horse around" means to embody the spirit of a horse. Imagine that. A form of equestrian spiritual possession embedded right there in our common lexicon. Insidious, wanting, and wretched. Make no mistake about it.
